The Breem rating system has been operating in the UK for over 20 years. Sustainable construction certificates are a sign of global changes and a modern international development policy aimed at reducing energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This policy has been developed for years in the European Union countries. Currently, the idea of sustainable development is entering Poland. The Breem In-Use certificate is awarded to existing facilities that meet stringent environmental and social requirements. Several dozen factors are assessed, including: energy efficiency of the facility, waste management method, reduction of pollutant emissions, transport accessibility and amenities for guests and employees. Tulip obtained the Breem In-Use certificate at the “Excellent” level. An ecological certificate of quality at the “Excellent” level was also awarded to the manager – Apsys Polska, for which the effectiveness of management that takes into account the needs of people and the natural environment was appreciated.
